Dive in with the rays! Join us for an immersive snorkel experience that puts you in the water with our amazing rays. Book your stingray snorkel now at Ocean Adventures Marine Park. All proceeds go to The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies.

Program Details

$65 per participant which includes general admission into Ocean Adventures Marine Park when pre-booked online. Limited spots available, please book online in advance. 

  • Experience the animals of the Gulf like never before! This program offers visitors a unique window into the world that lies beneath the waves of our waters.
  • Participants will be able to touch, feed, snorkel with, and receive a photo opportunity with our resident stingrays.
  • Program is available year around, Tuesday through Sunday.

This program lasts approximately one hour, with 15-20 minutes feeding the rays and 20 minutes snorkeling into the deep end of the pool.

  • Observers watching the experience must be booked as a spectator add on ($27 per spectator–includes general admission into Ocean Adventures Marine Park when booked online in advance). They will be allowed to stand poolside and take photos.
  • $35 USB is available for purchase. Our photographers will capture your entire experience and provide you with at least 10 photos on a USB.
  • Participants must be at least 48” tall AND at least 8 years old.
  • Participants must be able to swim independently.
  • Participants will come in contact with shellfish, anyone with shellfish allergies will not be allowed to participate.
  • Participants must have the capacity to enter and exit the pool without assistance and follow instruction.
  • Pregnant women will not be allowed to participate.
  • Participants must be under 250 pounds and no more than 52 inches in the chest area, due to life jacket sizes available
  • This program requires moderate physical fitness.  Any physical impairment such as inability to walk, confinement to wheelchair, unable to kneel, seizures, heart conditions, or other medical issues or special needs must be disclosed prior to booking this program and may limit participation. If you have any of these conditions, please call 228.896.9182 or email contactus@imms.org  for assistance in booking or alternate programming options.  Failure to adhere to Program Requirements may result in IMMS cancelling your program without a refund. 

  • Maximum of three participants per session. This is not a private session. You may share this experience with up to two other guest.
  • No loose personal items such as jewelry, chains, loose earrings, sunglasses, hats, cameras or anything with the potential to be pulled loose from participant may be brought into the pool.
  • No one with an open wound that needs a bandage larger than a 1″ band aid will be allowed in the pool.
  • While in the water, participants must keep both of their feet on the floor of the pool at all times and await the guide’s instructions before attempting to touch, feed, or interact with the stingrays.
  • While entering/exiting the water and while in the water the participant is to comply with any instructions from the guide.
  • Failure to comply with the directions or instructions given by a guide or any authorized representative of the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies or Ocean Adventures will result in expulsion from the experience.
  • All Experience Programs: Please remember that no animal is to be touched without explicit instructions and supervision from our staff. Please do not put any items in or over our animal habitats. Please be aware that all programs have some element outside and will require a light amount of walking. It is recommended guests pay attention to the weather and dress accordingly. Outside elements of any program may be canceled due to weather.
  • Each participant must bring their own swimsuit or clothing appropriate to wear into the pool.
  • Participants must bring their own towel. We do not supply towels for our guest.
  • Life jackets and water shoes will be provided.
  • Snorkels will be provided during the program

Cancellations must be made via e-mail to bills@imms.org.  Due to our cancellation fees, it is important to e-mail as soon as possible.  If you need additional assistance, please call 228-896-9182.

A refund less the processing fee will be issued for cancellations made at least 14 days in advance of program date. A 50% refund less the processing fee will be issued for cancellations made between 13 and 7 days in advance of program date. No refunds will be given for cancellations made less than seven days in advance of program date.  Late arrivals or no shows will forfeit program participation and receive no refund.
